We offer 20 hours of ECE childcare per week (6 hours per day) for all 3 & 4 year olds.

Services / activites offered
- Playgroup sessions the last Friday of every month at 13 Russell Street, Waipukurau 9am – 3pm
- Trips We have regular field trips to local spots including the Westpac pool, Lindsay bush and our local parks.
- Special Features Sprouts educators have free access to the toy library.
Educators, families, and children are welcome to join Scallywaggs Hand n Hand sessions, which include:
- Mat time activities including story-time: Tuesday
- Music session Wednesday from 10.30am
- Art activities Thursday

I have a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and have been teaching for 26 years. I am a founding staff member of Scallywaggs and have spent the past 22 years working within Scallywaggs Education and Care Services. During this time I became an Educator enabling me to spend time at home with my own children, returning to Scallywaggs as Co-ordinator and later as the Regional Manager for Sprouts In-Home Childcare.
I have an amazing supportive team of Educators within Central Hawke’s Bay who take real pride in their work providing a safe and educational home environment for their children in their care.
