We offer 20 hours of ECE childcare per week (6 hours per day) for all 3 & 4 year olds.

Services / activities offered
- Playgroup / early learning experiences (run during the school term) Friday at the Baptist Church, Riverbend Road, Napier 9.30am to 11.30am
- Gym Sessions Mondays Pettigrew Green Arena 9.15am to 10.00am During school terms – Everyone welcome.
- Monthly trips to a local venue to explore and educate children using outside activities.
Lynda Bicknell, Regional Manager
Kia Ora, My name is Lynda Bicknell. I am the Hawkes Bay Regional Manager for the Sprouts In-Home Childcare and have a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (ECE).I also have a strong Playcentre background. My experience over the last 15 years has been in the Home Based sector of Early Childhood. I am passionate about home-based care as the benefits for children receiving and developing personal relationships with a primary Educator are really important. Working within Sprouts gives me the opportunities to connect with families, teach children and Educators as we build relationships that enrich children.
Lynda Shanks, Co-ordinator
Hi, I’m Lynda, Co-ordinator with Sprouts in the Napier area. I hold a Diploma of Teaching Early Childhood Education and have full teacher registration. I have over 18 years of experience within the early childhood sector, having worked in a variety of centres and now have the privilege of working within the home-based sector.
Paula Stevenson, Co-ordinator
Kia Ora my name is Paula Stevenson, I am a Co-ordinator with Sprouts in Napier. I have a Diploma of Teaching Early Childhood Education , and have my full Teacher Registration. I am a mother of 4 and have been working in the Early Childhood sector for over 17 years and have a lot of experience working with children. I am pleased to be part of the Sprouts team.
