Toilet Training Readiness Guide

There is no set age for a child to be ready for toilet training. Most children gain the skills they need to start training between the ages of 18 months and three years old. Girls tend to be ready slightly earlier than boys.

We have put together a toilet training guide to help you keep track of your little one’s progress towards being ready for the toilet. You don’t need to wait until your child has achieved everything on this list before starting to train, but it’s a great general guideline to see where your child is at!
Our in-home educators at Sprouts will work with you to determine when your child may be ready to start toilet training. We have very experienced staff who can help you and your little Sprout on this journey!
